Edgar Wright Shrinks From Marvel's 'Ant Man' Over Creative Differences


So much for that Edgar Wright Ant-Man movie we were so looking forward to seeing.

The Scott Pilgrim and World’s End director has exited the project over creative differences (read: Wright is probably a little more "creative" than Disney/Marvel is comfortable with).

“Marvel and Edgar Wright jointly announced today that the studio and director have parted ways on ANT-MAN due to differences in their vision of the film,” according to a joint statement from the director and studio. “The decision to move on is amicable and does not impact the release date on July 17, 2015.
