Airbnb announced a new logo, including a "symbol of belonging" called a Bélo, and new website design Wednesday.
The announcement was made from the apartment where founders Brian Chesky and Joe Gebbia started the company in 2007. The rental service company has grown from that two-person operation to a $10 billion valuation.
The redesign includes a rethinking of the web and mobile experiences, cleaning up listings, featuring photos and simplifying the booking process.
