Now that Glass is available to everyone, Google has to make it appealing to the masses
Google has hired marketing veteran Ivy Ross to lead its Glass division. Ross has a limited tech background, having worked in marketing at a variety of companies including Mattel, Old Navy, Disney and most recently as CMO of Art.com, according to her LinkedIn profile.
"With your help, I look forward to answering the seemingly simple, but truly audacious questions Glass poses: Can technology be something that frees us up and keeps us in the moment, rather than taking us out of it? Can it help us look up and out at the world around us, and the people who share it with us? " Ross wrote in a Google+ post announcing her move.
